Welcome to Canoa Quebrada, 160 km South from Fortaleza, the  Pousada Colibri has the pleasure of introducing you in one of the best  spot in Brasil for kitesurfing. Flat water  and wave, constant wind , immense spaces are the features of the spots which are in Canoa  Quebrada and nearby .Recommended kite measures  from 8 to 12  during the wind season (June to Juanuary) and 12 to 16 for  the rest of the year.
Flat water paradise-the spot is located  at about 10 km of  Canoa Quebrada  and is possible to reach  exclusively with 4wheels drive or dune-buggy. The spot  is in the rivermouth of  Jaguaribe river in a big  area (3 km x 3km) and it works with low tide , it allows to kite at least 4 hour pour day  with flat water . The wind blows side , side on. The spot is really big ,uncrowded perfect for all kiters , excellent  also for beginners, where the presence of shallow water in some points of the spot make easier to  relaunch the kite. In this spot usually we use a smaller kite respect to Canoa Quebrada spot.
Canoa Quebrada Spot  located at the end of the beach of Canoa Quebrada going north, after the resteurant  Bom Motivo. The wind blows side on  in the morning and in the afternoon it turns on shore . The conditions are choppy /small waves , the presence of shore break make the spot  quite difficult for beginners. Starting from this spot is possible to go downwind to the rivermouth spot (usually it takes 45 min / 1 hour).
